Snow frozen Britain grinds to a halt ! Could the Mini Ice-age be upon us already?

Sometime in the not too distant future the great gulf stream conveyer belt that takes 1,000 years to complete it's trip will shut down do to the fresh water added to it from the melting Greenland ice cap. Could it be this year, will Northern Europe become a Glacier again?
